Bernadine Ott is an associate attorney at Nelson, Taylor & Associates PLLC, which serves clients in Salt Lake City and the surrounding area. Born and raised in American Samoa, Attorney Ott moved to Utah to continue her studies after graduating from America Samoa Community College with her Associates degree in Business Management.
Attorney Ott attended the University of Utah for her undergraduate studies and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from S.J. Quinney College of Law in May 2023.
Growing up, Attorney Ott never met an attorney, nor was she exposed to many people in the legal field. Because of this lack of exposure, she understands why and empathizes with clients who consider the law intimidating and unapproachable. This is also why she is committed to making the law more accessible and putting her clients at ease.
Attorney Ott also chose a career in law as she enjoys working in a field where she is able to continue learning and being challenged. Known for her commitment to her excellence and dedication to client satisfaction, she enjoys being able to help clients smoothly navigate some of the most challenging times in their lives and develop unique case strategies.

In this role, she helps families new to Utah adjust to the community and navigate life stateside; she also helps tutor younger children in improving their English language skills.
